Born in a tobacco barn south of St. Joseph, MO in the early 70s, the Midnight Express is a classic rock group consisting of serious individuals dedicated to the idea that good music comes from communication, variety, precision, timing, humor, and a warm rapport with the audience. All of these play an important part in providing an evening of entertainment that will be remembered. This band does not perform one kind of music exclusively, but variations of mainly classic rock, rhythm & blues, funk, southern rock, motown, and country. One thing is certain: whether the audience wants to dance, talk and listen, or just flow with the evening, they will know that this band is to be enjoyed! Throughout the Midwest, the members of the Midnight Express have brought the night alive with music of all kinds, what we like to call "Classic Party Music," in a truly professional atmosphere of high energy, fun, and entertainment.
